Australian Speedway Hall of Fame

As the recognised peak body of speedway with FIA delegation of authority for speedway in Australia, NASR has taken the lead role in implementing the Australian Speedway Hall of Fame with the full support of the NASR Board.

In 2006 NASR formed the National Speedway Induction Committee (NSIC) consisting of competitors, promoters, media
members, historians and vintage association members from all mainland states of Australia to nominate and select eligible candidates for induction into the Hall of Fame.

The final result saw 10 legendary drivers, promoters, car owners and constructors the first to be inducted into the Australian Speedway Hall of Fame during a magical and emotional evening in the Bradman Room at the Adelaide Oval on June 16, 2007.
